ASSI KOLKATA

ASSI Kolkata started in 2006 July with a feeding program and relationship building at Howrah station covering 200 children, by 2008 ASSI spread to bigger railway station such as Sealdah and started work among the railway people providing food, counselling, nonformal education, rescuing children and began providing shelter. Today there are over 42 Community learning centers across Kolkata, Family Development centers, Urban youth developmental Programs which includes English speaking classes, music class and different training, shelter home for children

  • Over 250 children reunited with family
  • Provided help to 500 Families and 1000 children through Family development centre.
  • 500 women benefited from Women empowerment program through sewing class.
  • 10000 youth benefited through counselling, seminars, Spoken English class, music class and different training.
